• Personallity: He isn’t much of a talker, but his face is always full of expressions. He comes off as a gentle and calm person. He doesn’t seem very sociable at first but he is always warm and welcoming when you approach him. He gets amused easily, but he is also hard to anger. He prefers to avoid conflict. He also will pull pranks on you when you least expect it. He doesn’t mind interacting with others, but is often seen kept to himself. He also does magic tricks as a hobby and likes to incorporate them with his pranks. If you do make him angry, you should run.

• Likes: Oversized and baggy sweaters and turtlenecks, cold weather, rain, hot drinks, jokes, manga, adventure novels, cafes, rain, ANIMALS, spending what little free time he has at cafes and in the corners of bookstores, mysteries and urban legends

• Why did they move here?: He didn’t enjoy the city atmosphere nor the country stillness and thought this place was sort of in-between. He also wanted to turn a new leaf and start his life anew. The rain was a bonus.

• History: He had a normal childhood and grew up in the US while occasionally visiting Japan to see family. He didn’t have a lot of friends and didn’t go out much due to his strict parents. Halfway through middle school he began to rebel against his parents and teachers, and often ditched school. Starting high school he hung out more often with delinquents and started a somewhat “vigilante” group, where he would punish those who were being unfair. He took a part-time job and with the money took martial arts classes, and his vigilante squad went from punishing bullies to taking care of thieves and pocket-snatchers. He was feared and respected for his strength but that all died down as soon as he entered his senior year and his grades began to drop, threatening him to flunk out of school. He disbanded his group and stopped all his extracurricular activities to focus on his academics and successfully graduated.
  During the summer after graduation, he found out that one of his closest friends, a former member of his group, was framed for illegal activity and was brutally injured by a gang member. He called some of his other friends over and they proceeded to wipe out the gang, and had them anonymously sent to the police once they had confirmed his injured friend safe. The wound was almost fatal and Nico believed it was his fault for dragging everyone into this mess by creating the group and messing around in the first place, and swore to not get involved in any conflict unless it was necessary (this is so dramatic and cliché oml). Nico decided to pursue in medical studies and managed to graduate early with a medical doctorate degree. He now pretends to forget about his past (as it was an awkward phase for him) and live a new life in Lichbarrow. It wasn’t that his past was painful or anything, he just finds it cringe-worthy and embarrassing.
